Sip & Stroll Business Participants
Welcome to Downtown Lockhart’s Annual Sip & Stroll!
Every business participant will receive a Sip & Stroll graphic for Instagram & Facebook, a poster for their window, and their business name & address listed on the trail map. We strongly encourage everyone to create grid posts on social media, tag @hellolockhart and @downtownlockhart for the furthest reach!
Wine Hosts will need to designate themselves, a friend, or a team member to pour 1 oz tastings to guests. We provide branded tote bags and tasting glasses to all ticket holders, and per TABC guidelines should provide a tasting to all adults over 21+ who ask for one. We will provide back-up plastic tasting cups.
Chow Hosts will provide complimentary bites to Sip & Stroll guests. If you have an additional special for the day, let us know by March 27th so we can promote it.
All Wine & Chow Hosts + Sponsors will be included in our social media promotions! One of our committee members will come by your shop to collect images and video for promotional reels.
• TABC-Holding Wine Host: $35
Wine Hosts who carry a TABC license (wine & beer shop, restaurants) will need to purchase 6 bottles (of the same wine) and send to the committee by March 27th. You can purchase from a distributor or from Bevies at cost that the LDBA will reimburse up to $60 for. (This is per TABC guidelines)

TABC licensed hosts agree to follow the format and protocols set forth for Sip & Stroll and responsible alcohol management, to include limiting their tastings to ONE wine per location for the event at a maximum of 1 oz pours per guest and at no more than 6 bottles. Non-compliance may result in ineligibility for future participation, and may have implications in regard to the City of Lockhart ordinance allowing open containers on the square during this event.
TABC NOTE FOR ALL: per TABC law any guest who requests a sample must receive one regardless of if they have purchased tickets to Sip & Stroll. We will provide each shop with plastic tasting cups. By registering for this event, you are stating you understand your legal obligations and limitations according to TABC law for your permit use.
• Non-TABC-Holding Wine Host: $35
Wine Hosts who do not have a TABC license (retail shops/offices) will receive 6 bottles of wine chosen by our committee based on donated wines. Hosts must pick up their wine samples from Best Little Wine & Books by Friday , April 3rd between 10am-1pm. Please feel free to text Kaye at 817-706-9639 if you need delivery or have any questions.

If you are writing a check:
Drop off at Best Little Wine & Books at 210 W. San Antonio St. between 4-9pm Tues-Fri. made out to the Lockhart Downtown Business Association with your business name and Sip & Stroll (or SS) in the memo line. Online payment is preferred, if possible. Payment is due by March 27th.
